A project done in Collaboration with Janine Wang Studio and Divierse Streets Initiative for their “Safe Spaces and Solidarity” show.
“Illumination is a set of modular art holders modeled after historic NYC streetlamps, scaled down to 1/3 of their original size. In a gallery setting, they bring the city streets indoors while elevating the art they hold, creating safe spaces in their glow. Each holder comes apart into four pieces.
