It's incredibly charming with it's Beaux Arts Style and almost impossible to replicate, even in a teeny model. The analysis below describes the ambulatory of the NYPL. The route of entry carves out a delicate path towards the Reading Room, as - had intended. It was imperative to understanding materiality, along with how to construct these structures. I was also asked to desgn the plaza--which for me was a big plus. Today, the library is an institution some may argue as obsolete, but I would argue it's urgency is in the community that it is brought upon The urgency to education, in tandem with the urgency to communicate is often enclosed by a thick envelope, reminding us that we "must be inside somewhere" This exploration of a library dances between the boundary of interiors and exterior. Can I be inside, but can I also be outside?
