GANTRY PLAZA LIBRARY
BETWEEN MALLEABLE GROUNDS
PLACE
Perhaps the modern definition of library compares to than that of it's conception.
Today, the library is an institution some may argue as obsolete, but I would argue it's urgency is in the community that it is brought upon
The urgency to education, in tandem with the urgency to communicate is often enclosed by a thick envelope, reminding us that we "must be inside somewhere"
This exploration of a library dances between the boundary of interiors and exterior. Can I be inside, but can I also be outside?
Can I read comfortably sheltered, but also sheltered by the city around me?
